What is plastic nose surgery (rhinoplasty)?
Plastic nose surgery is carried out to ensure that the patient can have a new nose in harmony with his/her face through some modifications in the nose. A big nose could be minified, an uneven nose could be shaped, a large nose could be minimized, and a short nose could be enhanced. Inhaling problems could also be eliminated during such operations.

Is there a perfect nose model that becomes everyone?
As everybody has a different face, the perfect nose is also different for everybody. Nevertheless, there are some common aesthetic criteria such as an even nasal dorsum and a narrow nose tip with a certain angle to the upper lip. The point in plastic nose surgery is to shape the nose according to aesthetic criteria by taking the facial characteristics into account.

Our aim in plastic nose operations is to make the nose have a natural look. Unnaturally small or extremely pug noses are not appropriate to aesthetic criteria.

Who can undergo plastic nose operations?
Plastic nose surgery could be applied at 17 for females and 18 for males.

Which methods are used for plastic nose operations?
There are two methods one of which is open and the others closed. The method to be used is determined according to the needs for shaping the nose.

Is it possible to restore inhaling problems at the same operation?
If there is any disadvantage for inhaling (such as deviation, enlarging nose flap etc.) they could be restored and removed during the same operation.

What is the medium for plastic nose surgery, how long does it take and how long does it take to recover?
Such operations are held in hospitals under general anaesthesia. The operation takes about 1-3 hours.
